Na Chopku -8 takmer zamračené, na Lomnickom štíte -7 takmer jasno, na Štrbskom plese -5 takmer jasno

Vo vysokohorskom teréne všetkých pohorí na Slovensku trvá mierne lavínové nebezpečenstvo, druhý stupeň z päťdielnej medzinárodnej stupnice.

V Tatranskom národnom parku sú všetky značkované turistické chodníky uzavreté s výnimkou chodníkov po vysokohorské chaty, okrem Chaty pod Rysmi.

Na Slovensku sa zatiaľ lyžuje na jedinom mieste na Štrbskom plese. Sezónu dnes otvárajú v najväčšom lyžiarskom stredisku Jasná Nízke Tatry. Dnes tam bude lyžovačka zadarmo. Podmienky zlepšuje aj prírodný sneh.

Slovenské jaskyne sú dnes zatvorené, okrem Domice a Važeckej. Pravidelné vstupy od 9:30 do 14-tej.

V Tatrách dnes Polojasno až oblačno a miestami slabé sneženie, na podhorí aj dážď so snehom. Denné teploty od -5 vo vysokých polohách do +2 stupňov v podhorí.

All marked turist pathways in the Tatras National Park are closed except pathways to the huts. Pathway to Rysy chalet is also closed. Season closure will last until the 15th of June 2009.
